Dynamic Featured News Display: The homepage presents featured and latest articles with titles, categories, publication dates, imagery, and excerpts, giving immediate prominence to current content.
Dedicated Category Sections: Separate content blocks were developed for each category, making the platform easier to browse and helping readers quickly find topics that interest them.
“Latest News” and “Most Read” Modules: Dedicated sections for the newest articles and the most-read stories were integrated to improve content discovery and increase time spent on the website.
On-Site Search Functionality: A search feature was added to allow readers to quickly find specific articles, names, or topics throughout the portal.
Detailed Article Pages: Every news story is published on a dedicated page, creating space for full content, visual elements, category information, and editorial details.
Modern News Portal Interface: An editorial-focused design was developed with clear visual hierarchy, prominent headlines, and a layout designed for fast and comfortable reading.
Clear and Intuitive Navigation: The main navigation organises the portal’s categories and allows users to move quickly between featured news and topic-specific sections.
User Login System: Login and password recovery functionality were integrated, creating a foundation for user management or future advanced platform features.
Legal and Informational Pages: Links to Terms of Use and Privacy Policy pages were included to support transparency and professional publishing standards.
Mobile-Responsive Design: The platform was optimised for phones, tablets, and desktop devices, maintaining clear reading, simple navigation, and fast article access across every screen size.
Completion
This project demonstrates my ability to build scalable news portals with organised category structures, dynamic content publishing, and a reader-focused user experience. E-Post gives the media outlet a serious online presence and a functional foundation for continuous real-time news publishing.
