Dynamic Article Display: The homepage was built to showcase the latest and featured articles in a visual format, including imagery, category labels, titles, author information, and publication dates.
Distinct Editorial Sections: Dedicated content blocks were integrated for each category, with “Show More” functionality that allows readers to continue exploring related articles.
Trending and Latest Content: Sections for trending articles and the latest publications were created to keep high-value and recent content visible and easily accessible.
Audio and Live Content Integration: Dedicated Live TV and HeyRadio sections were included, expanding the platform beyond written articles into a multi-format media experience.
Modern News Portal Interface: A clean editorial design was developed with clear visual hierarchy, modern typography, and strong headline presentation to improve readability and navigation.
Simple and Intuitive Navigation: The main navigation organises categories, homepage access, Live TV, and social channels, helping visitors quickly reach the content they are looking for.
Social Media Integration: Direct links to Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook were included to connect the website with the media brand’s social channels and support wider content distribution.
Easy Content Management: The platform was built on WordPress, enabling ongoing article publishing, updates, and content organisation through an administrative dashboard.
Mobile-Responsive Design: The website was optimised for phones, tablets, and desktop devices, ensuring that article cards, categories, and navigation remain clear across all screen sizes.
Completion
This project demonstrates my ability to build modern media portals with a clear editorial structure, dynamic content, and intuitive navigation. HeyMedia provides an organised digital space for publishing news and entertainment content, while giving the media brand flexibility to manage and continuously expand the platform.
